Crew Member Visas
Persons working as crew members on vessels or aircraft need to apply for a D visa.
This applies to crew members such as pilots, air hostesses, flight attendants, stewards, seamen, or employees on board a ship whose services are required for normal operation.
Crew members traveling to the United States as passengers to join a vessel or aircraft must apply for a C1/D visa.
All crew members applying for a crew visa must appear in person at the consular section and must be interviewed by a consular officer.
