Diversity Internship Program
Download NDIP Request Form.
ODI advocates the use of diverse student internship organizations to meet or exceed
the goals of the National Diversity Internship Program (NDIP). We are currently
accepting interns from the following non-profit affiliates: the American Indian
Science and Engineering Society (AISES); National
Association for Equal Opportunity in Higher Education (NAFEO);
Washington Internships for Native Students (WINS);
The Washington Center (TWC); Hispanic Association
of Colleges and Universities (HACU), Organization
of Chinese Americans (OCA); International
Leadership Foundation (ILF); Minority Access
(MA); Workforce Recruitment Program
(WRP); and the Asian Pacific American
Institute for Congressional Studies (APAICS).
As part of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) efforts to cultivate a diverse
workforce, the Office of Human Resources and Administration has established a Department-wide
centralized fund to support increased participation in the NDIP. The funding is
available to each Administration and all Staff Offices in VA Central Office (VACO).
There are a limited number of centralized slots. Applications will be approved
on a first come, first serve basis. Please complete the NDIP
Internship Request form by Monday, March 5, 2012.
