Senator Lee is excited to introduce a new way for constituents to stay connected to Senator Lee in 2013. On February 13, 2013 he hosted his first tele-townhall meeting. Thousands of Utahns participated in the teleconference, where they were able to ask questions to Senator Lee and hear the answers to questions by other constituents. Hundreds of other Utahns also tuned in to the event as it was streamed over the internet in a formate that resembled a live, call-in television show. They were able to submit questions through Facebook and Twitter as well.
We are planning on hosting one of these events on the second Wednesday of every month. The event always starts at 9:00 p.m. EST (7:00 p.m. MST).
