U.S. Government Resources
- Department of Commerce: The U.S. Department of Commerce provides support to U.S. companies that are pursuing business opportunities abroad through its network of Export Assistance Centers and Foreign Commercial Service offices.
- Export.gov: Brings together resources from across the U.S. Government to assist American businesses in planning their international sales strategies and succeed in today’s global marketplace. Export.gov also hosts information on the National Export Initiative.
- Export Import Bank of the United States: The Export-Import Bank of the United States provides export financing and financial services to promote U.S. exports.
- National IPR Center: The National Intellectual Property Rights Coordination Center (IPR Center) stands at the forefront of the U.S. government’s response to global intellectual property (IP) theft.
- Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR): USTR has a lead role in coordinating U.S. trade policy including the negotiation trade and investment agreements, consultations on trade and investment issues and implementation of trade and investment agreements.
- Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC): OPIC offers financial services including investment insurance to promote U.S. trade and investment abroad.
- The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA): The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) provides support to U.S. small businesses and small –business owners across the nation through capital (loans), access to federal contracts, and counseling.
- U.S. Trade and Development Agency: The U.S. Trade and Development Agency promotes U.S. trade and investment through feasibility studies and technical assistance.

- Board of Investment: BOI is the main Bangladesh Government agency responsible for promoting foreign investment in Bangladesh.

- Bangladesh Export Processing Zone Authority: BEPZA oversees the administration of export processing zones where companies benefit from a special rules and services to promote investement.
