WASHINGTON – House Republican Conference Chairman Jeb Hensarling (R-Texas) issued the following statement today in response to President Obama’s claim that he has yet to see the House Republican Plan for America’s Job Creators. 

“Mr. President, jobs have been job number one for House Republicans since the beginning of this year. In fact, major portions of the House Republican Plan for America’s Job Creators have been stacking up like cord wood on Senator Harry Reid’s doorstep for months. 

“As we’ve said many times, House Republicans will work with you on job creation polices that don’t over-tax or over-regulate America’s job creators, but we just disagree with you that we should keep spending money we don’t have for jobs we never get.”
