Oct 13-14, 2011 ( Washington, DC )
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) will host the 4th biennial United States-China Consumer Product Safety Summit on October 13-14, 2011. The Summit will be held at the U.S. Department of State’s George C. Marshall Conference Center in Washington, D.C.
Chairman Inez Tenenbaum welcomes the 14-member delegation from the People’s Republic of China’s AQSIQ, led by Vice Minister Sun Dawei. Public participation is encouraged and several opportunities are built into the program for the public to pose questions to the panels.
The theme of the 2011 Summit is “Good Manufacturing, Better Safety, Best Practices” and it promises to provide opportunities to hear from industry, consumer, and government leaders about design and manufacturing practices that provide the foundation for safer products.
The Summit will be webcast live for those unable to attend.
All attendees must pre-register for both in person attendance and webcast in advance of the Summit.
Please note that public seating is limited so early registration is advised.
