Making the Right Choices
When you use the computers on the school network you must always remember that you have agreed to use DoDEA's computer services "only in support of my education". What does that mean? It means that you are responsible for making the right choices When using the Internet you are responsible for only going to sites which have an educational purpose - i.e. a class assignment. Going to inappropriate sites will result in losing your computer privileges at school and possibly disciplinary action. What should you do if you are searching for a site and an inappropriate one comes up? Show a teacher so he/she make a note of the URL so the site can be blocked. If you do not inform a teacher and your "history" is checked you could be in trouble.
Remember: game sites, personal email, chat rooms, & shopping are also off limits on school computers.
