Garrison CommanderColonel Joel J. Clark assumed command of the Presidio of Monterey on July 19, 2011.

Deputy to Garrison CommanderIn this role she is the primary advisor to the Garrison Commander, Presidio of Monterey, on all matters involving installation management, to include the Ord Military Community. She is responsible for directing and managing the garrison staff.

Command Sergeant MajorThe Command Sergeant Major is the senior NCO of the command at battalion or higher levels. The CSM carries out policies and standards on performance, training, appearance and conduct of enlisted personnel. The CSM gives advice and initiates recommendations to the commander and staff in matters pertaining to enlisted personnel. A unit, installation, or higher headquarters CSM directs the activities of that NCO support channel.
