Federal Agency Help

Internal Revenue Service

I may be able to assist taxpayers from the 13th District of Texas who are experiencing difficulties with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) in resolving their federal tax-related problems.

If you are unable to secure the help you need from the resources found below, my office may be able to assist you with your IRS related issue.  To request assistance from my office, begin by printing and filling out a
privacy authorization form and then fax or mail it to one of my offices listed below.

I am unable to directly intervene in private disputes between individuals and businesses, financial institutions, or other independent entities. Also, due to the constitutional separation of powers, judicial matters do not fall under my jurisdiction as a Member of Congress. House ethics rules also prohibit me from acting as an attorney.
