U.S. Economic Envoy to Northern Ireland Welcomes ATG Inc. Expansion in Belfast

The U.S. Economic Envoy to Northern Ireland, Declan Kelly, welcomed today’s announcement by U.S. based ATG Inc. that it will create 50 new high quality software development jobs in Northern Ireland.

“U.S. technology firms of all sizes continue to look to Northern Ireland as a location for global expansion because of the talented workforce and expertise the region offers in technology and software development,” stated Envoy Kelly.

“This investment comes during a week of events highlighting the strong ties that exist between the United States and Northern Ireland including the historic visit by former President Bill Clinton to Derry/Londonderry, and tomorrow’s Boston Bruins game in Belfast, all of which help showcase Northern Ireland across the U.S.,” concluded Envoy Kelly.

The ATG expansion is being supported by Invest NI and is expected to generate £2m annually in salaries.
