Statement by APEC on Free Trade Area of the Asia-Pacific
November 14, 2010 - We, the APEC Leaders, having agreed at our meeting in November of 2009 in Singapore to explore a range of possible pathways to achieve a Free Trade Area of the Asia-Pacific (FTAAP) and having been informed by APEC Ministers on the work undertaken this year toward this goal, share the following view:

November 14, 2010 - Washington — President Obama and other Asia-Pacific leaders said they remain focused on liberalizing trade and investment among their economies and pledged to work toward greater economic integration and creation of an Asia-Pacific free trade area.

G20 Agrees on Ways to Prevent Future Economic Crisis
November 12, 2010 - Washington — The Group of 20 (G20) major economies have agreed to implement tighter financial regulations designed to help prevent the types of investment and trading practices that led to the global financial crisis, and they pledged to achieve more sustainable and balanced economic growth.
