Police Investigator. Responsibilities include all routine police investigations, fingerprinting and name checks.

Vehicle registration is no longer required on Carlisle Barracks. Active duty soldiers are required to register motorcycles, please contact Dave Eckenrode at 245-4929 to set-up an appointment.

Weapon Registration - All post residents must register firearms, please contact Dave Eckenrode at 245-4929. A completed CBKs Form 153 is required.

Supervision of Children - There is a SOP outlining the responsibilities, policies and procedures pertaining to supervision of children on Carlisle Barracks. Click on this PDF file to see the entire SOP



If your ID Card is lost or stolen, please fill out the attached CBks (DES) Form 245-R-E and turn-in to the Police Desk Sergeant.

313 Lovell Avenue, Carlisle Barracks, PA 17013

Carlisle Barracks is a military installation and because of this
it has special entry procedures. These procedures include a visitor's entrance
through a vehicle Access Control Point located off Claremont Road, Carlisle, PA.


Entering Carlisle Barracks

When entering off of Claremont Road pay special attention to the posted “NO TURN” signs.
DO NOT follow your GPS, it may result in an improper entry attempt onto Carlisle Barracks. Signs are posted on Claremont Road; follow them to the “Claremont Gate” Access Control Point. Turn onto Jim Thorpe Road from Claremont Road and loop around to the Security Guards (map below). If you DO NOT have a DOD sticker on your vehicle, you must use the VISITORS LANE. Each person in the vehicle must present proper valid identification. Inform the Security Guard what function you are attending.

Directions once you are officially on Carlisle Barracks

Once the Security Guard has checked you in,
proceed straight across Claremont Road onto Carlisle Barracks.
LVCC Signs with directional arrows are posted at each intersection:
LEFT - Delaney Road
LEFT - Forbes Ave
RIGHT - Ashburn Drive (Fire House)
LEFT - Lovell Ave (“Y” in the road)
You may park in the lot to your right once you are on Lovell Ave and
walk up the street to the LVCC. Parking is also located on Lovell Ave past the LVCC.
Handicapped parking is located in front of the LVCC with access to the left of the building.
