Code of Federal Regulations§ 383.151General. (a) The CDL must be a document that is easy to recognize as a CDL. (b) The CLP must be a separate document from the CDL or non-CDL. (c) At a minimum, the CDL and the CLP must contain the information specified in §383.153. [76 FR 26892, May 9, 2011]
