Mission
We, in coordination with the Foreign Commercial Service of the Department of Commerce, support U.S. economic and commercial interests by providing information about the Honduran investment and macroeconomic environment. Our commitment is to advocate for a more open and transparent market economy that is less dependent on foreign aid and more able to generate sustainable and broad-based economic growth, compliments all USG efforts to generate employment both in the U.S. and in Honduras and reduce poverty. We consistently strive to strengthen the U.S.-Honduras bilateral commercial relationship by promoting regional trade liberalization and the benefits of the Dominican Republic and Central America Free Trade Agreement (CAFTA-DR).
