Making Mochi: pounding fun, spiritually powered rice cakes

A Japanese ceremony worker pounds steamed rice during the annual mochi-pounding ceremony in the Japan Air Self-Defense Force gym at Misawa Air Base, Japan, Dec. 14, 2012.
