Seventeen U.S. Firms to Explore Export Opportunities in Growing Market
WASHINGTON –Under Secretary of Commerce for International Trade Francisco Sánchez announced today that he will lead representatives from 17 U.S. renewable energy and energy efficiency companies on a trade mission to Turkey, December 5-9. The mission will identify opportunities for U.S.-Turkish business partnerships and offer trade and project financing to qualified U.S. firms.
“In September of this year, I was pleased to chair the first meeting of the U.S-Turkish Business Council in Istanbul and I learned about the great opportunities in Turkey,” said Sánchez. “I look forward to returning to Turkey with leading U.S. renewable energy and efficiency firms to help facilitate partnerships and explore new commercial opportunities that will help our companies sell more of their world class products and help Turkey reach its energy goals.”
The mission will assist U.S. companies in the renewable energy and energy efficiency sectors partner with Turkish companies and identify new opportunities and markets to increase their exports and support American jobs.
