This section of the Forest Operations Equipment Catalog lists the equipment used in forest operations. The equipment is separated into categories based on their function in the harvest / treatment process. The harvest system process is performed by five functions: felling, extraction, processing, loading, and transportation. Some systems may perform felling and processing as a single function, while others may not perform any extraction or transportation. The number of steps in the process will vary by system and the treatment being performed.
