Dave McAdoo photoDave McAdoo received his Ph.D. from Cornell University in in 1976. He has worked as a geophysicist at NASA, and, since 1984, at NOAA, serving as Chief of the Geodynamics Branch from 1990 to 2000. His recent research has focused on polar geodynamics including derivation of marine gravity from satellite altimetry over ice-covered polar seas. He is a member of American Geophysical Union, a co-investigator on the CryoSat Calibration-Validation team and is serving on the GRACE Science Team for the NASA/DLR Gravity Recovery and Climate Experiment (GRACE).
