HROM-Sponsored EEO Training
DoN requires that managers and employees receive specific training on a recurring basis. Training is an important vehicle in providing information and guidance to all members as to their rights and responsibilities under law, rule or regulation.
In the EEO arena there are three requirements for annual or bi-annual training.
All Supervisors of civilian employees - required to complete a course on Equal Employment Opportunity annually. Required by
29 CFR, Part 1614.102(a)(4)
All civilian employees - required to complete a course on the Prevention of Sexual Harassment annually. Required by
SECNAVINST 5300.26D
All civilian employees - required to complete a course on the Notification and Federal Employees Anti-Discrimination (No FEAR) Act bi-annually (every two years). Required by
