- I was very excited to open a new office to help the citizens of Gaston County and surrounding areas of the 10th District today. Let's take a pause from the politics to wish the king a happy birthday. Happy 78th, Elvis.- Earlier today I took the oath of office for the 113th Congress. We have a lot of tough challenges ahead, but I’m excited for the opportunity to fix our out-of-control spending problem and put our country back on the right track. I appreciate all of the feedback that you’ve given me on this page and look forward to your guidance in the weeks and months ahead.
- Congratulations to Sharon Decker of Rutherford County on her appointment as NC Secretary of Commerce! I look forward to working with Secretary Decker to improve our economy here in western North Carolina.
