Floyd-Bennett Field, NY, refueling mission

The Massachusetts Air National Guard, along with the Army National Guard, provided a series of C-300 fuel trucks, which can hold 1,200 gallons of fuel and are capable of dispensing gasoline directly into vehicles. Otis Heritage Plaza

Summer Hire program

Mary Gillespie, a UMASS Boston accounting student, has been working in the 102nd Comptroller Flight over the summer. Gillespie is participating in the Student Temporary Employment Program (STEP) which offers high school and college students the opportunity to work a temporary, full-time job at the 102nd Intelligence Wing alongside members of the Massachusetts Air National Guard.

Guardsmen receive ‘active shooter’ training from Federal Protective Service

The 102nd Intelligence Wing of the Massachusetts Air National Guard hosted the Federal Protective Service at Otis Air National Guard Base to conduct ‘active shooter’ training for both law and non-law enforcement members of the Massachusetts Military Reservation, June 13-14, 2012. The first training day consisted of lecture-based, classroom training for Unit Antiterrorism Representatives, preparing them to provide similar training in their respective work centers.
