New Article in Eos

A new article by Dennis Baldocchi et al. will be published in the June 5 edition of Eos. Entitled "The Role of Trace Gas Networks in the Biogeosciences", it details the efforts involved in building and maintaining the various regional and global trace gas sensor networks using the FLUXNET network as an example. A pre-release version can be downloaded here.

Welcome to the New FLUXNET Website

Welcome to the new FLUXNET Web site. We switched to a new content management system to improve routine maintenance. In addition, we have switched the underlying database to an open source system. Other modifications include: new layout that streamlines site information presentation; enhanced Announcements/News/Job Posting section; linked citations; and information on dozens of recently added sites.

What's New

Welcome to the new FLUXNET website! As you've noticed we made some changes and we'd like to take the opportunity to highlight and explain some of them so that you can more quickly and easily use the new website.

Greenhouse gas fluxes in managed ecosystems and regions

Dear all,

As you know we would like to use the EGU to further push all GHG-Europe synthesis activities. We expect to do this in the framework of smaller meetings, but also through presentations in the the official programme. To foster a fruitful discussion and exchange we would welcome your contribution to this process by submitting an abstract to the EGU session

BG2.11 Greenhouse gas fluxes in managed ecosystems and regions, http://meetingorganizer.copernicus.org/EGU2013/session/12696, co-sponsored by GHG-Europe.

Keynote speakers:

Deadline abstracts for EGU Session BG1.4: Novel tracers in biosphere-atmosphere interactions

Deadline for abstract submission coming up in two days:
9th January 2013 for EGU General Assembly 7-12 April 2013 Vienna, Austria
