Changes are Coming to MyHealtheVet!

Changes are coming to MyHealtheVet! Monday, October 1st, the site will have new and improved features, log on today to see what MyHealtheVet offers.

Designed for Veterans, MyHealtheVet, VA's Online Personal Health Record, partners patients with their VA health care team online. Available 24/7, the MyHealtheVet website, www.myhealth.va.gov, allows users to refill VA prescriptions, view lab results, see appointments and send secure online messages to their health care teams.

To register, Veterans can go to the site and create a profile. In-Person Authentication is the next step to full secure access with an upgraded MyHealtheVet account. Patients must sign VA Release of Information Form 10-5345-MHV and present it to a VA staff member, along with a photo ID for full use of the site.

Morris, an 89 year old WWII Veteran, says he likes “to kick back in my recliner with my laptop to login and see my appointments and get my refills. I’m a little hard of hearing, so this is easier than using the phone.”

Morris is one of 1.7 million Veterans registered and using MyHealtheVet. To become an active partner in your health care, take time to register today and then get your upgraded account the next time you visit your VA facility. Contact Beth Lamb at 859-233-4511 ext. 2419 for assistance.
