USAG Grafenwoehr

HOME BASED BUSINESS (HBB) PROCESS

Welcome to USAG Grafenwoehr Home Based Business.
If you want to run your own small business out of your military government quarters you need to have the Garrison Commander’s permission

HBBs are operated by family members of the U.S. Army soldiers or civilians who provide a service to other U.S. forces members and affiliates.

Family members stationed in Europe might want to carry on the American tradition of working out of their home and try their hand at starting a business in or out of their government quarters.

Examples of services are tutoring, singing and dancing lessons, accounting and tax services, word processing, childcare and similar skills. In addition, multi level sales activities, i.e. Avon Tupperware, and Pampered Chef, are typical HBB activities.

Please print out all the supporting documents below  and submit them to the Commercial Affairs Officers located at Bldg, 433, Room 301.

It is important to complete all of the tasks as this will expedite the process.

Your request will be coordinated with pertinent Garrison Organizations and finally reviewed by OSJA (Legal).  After the complete review, the Garrison Commander may approve your home based business request at his discretion. Please allow 30 to 45 days for this process.

Once you’ve filled out all the needed paperwork, submitted your application and received approval, you are ready to operate your Home Based Business.

If you have any further questions, please contact the Office of Commercial Affairs at DSN 475-7122 or CIV 09641-83 7122.
