Medication Refills

3 Easy Ways to Order or Refill Your Medication

1.  Mail in your refill document 14 days before the medication is needed.  Remember to sign and date your refill slips.

2.  Go online to www.myhealth.va.gov to order or refill your medication.

3.  Call our 24-hour a day automatic call in system (Audiocare) to order or refill your medication.  Call 1-800-274-8387 and ask for extension 6284, or you may call  814-868-6284.

To use the Audiocare system, you will need:
   - a touch tone phone
   - complete social security number
   - prescription number (do not use the letter)

Can't find your refill document?  If your refill document is misplaced, you may write the name of the drug, the prescription number from the bottle, and your name and last 4 numbers of you social security number on a sheet of paper and mail or bring it to the VA Pharmacy.

Prescriptions cannot be refilled after one year from the date that your physician writes them. Controlled Substances cannot be refilled after six (6) months.  This expiration date is printed on your refill slip.  You will need to contact your doctor for a new prescription if this date has passed.

Please do not bring refill requests to the pharmacy prior to your scheduled appointments in the clinic.  This creates less confusion if your doctor changes your medication.
