Healthcare Trade Mission to Russia

Cities: Moscow and St. Petersburg
Dates: June 3-7, 2013

The U.S. Department of Commerce is organizing a Healthcare Trade Mission to Moscow and St. Petersburg, Russia from June 3-7, 2013. The mission is designed to be led by a senior Department of Commerce official, and will focus on: 1) revealing crucial aspects of market intelligence and regulatory environment with the assistance of industry experts and Russian government agencies 2) introducing U.S. healthcare exporters to prospective business partners.

The Healthcare Trade mission will promote the competitiveness of U.S. medical equipment, dental equipment and biotechnology subsectors in a key emerging market and demonstrate U.S. Government support for Russia’s healthcare sector goals.

Trade mission participants will:

  • Receive an invitation to an ambassador’s reception for networking with Russian officials and companies;
  • Receive in-depth market briefing from the U.S. Embassy in Moscow and Russian government officials and industry experts, including opportunities, challenges, and long-term projections of the Healthcare market;
  • One-on-one meetings with prospective Russian business partners.

Russian Country Commercial Guide

The Russia Country Commercial Guide (CCG) presents an overview of Russia’s commercial climate, including economic, political, and market analyses. This primer for doing business in the Russian Federation is prepared annually through the combined efforts of several U.S. Government agencies at the U.S. Embassy in Moscow, and the U.S. Commercial Service offices in Moscow and St. Petersburg.
