On 1 July 2010, CPPD opened the Virtual Education Center (VEC).
The VEC call center is open Monday - Friday, 15 hours a day (0600-2100
Eastern) and is staffed by academic advisors, ready to fill your requests
and answer questions about all components of the Navy College Program.
The VEC serves as the Navy College Program's central location for
receiving and responding to toll-free telephone, electronic mail, fax, and
United States Postal Mail inquiries dealing with all off-duty voluntary
education programs and services. The VEC processes Tuition
Assistance applications. The VEC serves as a hub for requesting the
Sailor and Marine Corps American Council on Education Registry Transcript
(SMART). The VEC provides easy access to and "one-stop shopping" for
information on the Navy College Program and other voluntary education
opportunities.
