7/19/2012 - MCGHEE TYSON AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE, Tenn. -- Chief Master Sgt. of the Air Force James A. Roy paid a visit to the airmen of McGhee Tyson Air National Guard Base, July 17.
During his visit, Chief Roy met with enlisted members of the base and received briefings from leadership of the 134th Air Refueling Wing, 119th Command and Control Squadron, and the I.G. Brown Training and Education Center.
Chief Roy represents the highest level of enlisted leadership in the Air Force. He serves as the personal adviser to the Chief of Staff and the Secretary of the Air Force on all issues regarding the welfare, readiness, morale, and proper utilization and progress of the enlisted force.
