Carlson Wagonlit Travel (CWT) 
is the exclusive Commercial Travel Office (CTO) for Fort Detrick. Carlson Wagonlit Travel will only process Official Travel, Official Travel mixed with leisure and Emergency Leave Travel.

CWT offers Airline, Car Rentals, Hotel, Cruise and Tour bookings.
All travel requests are processed by CWT from their Aberdeen Proving Grounds office. One (1) copy of travel orders will be furnished to CWT via fax or e-mail. One (1) copy of orders will accompany any tickets returned for refund.
Reservations can be made by calling 1-800-296-3074 or on-line at http://cwtres.com/ . Travel orders can be e-mailed to aberdeensup@carlson.com or fax to 410-272-1549, 866-209-2035, or 410-273-1181. The CWT supervisor should be contacted at 410-273-1178 regarding services, refunds, or other travel related issues. The Fort Detrick Travel Office can be reached at 301-619-2211 and the Installation Transportation Officer (ITO) at 301-619-3275. Problems, questions, or comments that have not been resolved by the CWT supervisor should be referred to the travel office or the ITO.
Electronic tickets (e-tickets) will be used for all official travel when available. Exceptions to the use of e-tickets will be approved by the order issuing authority. The order issuing authority will ensure that there is a clear audit trail that justifies the use of paper tickets. The government will pay the additional cost of paper tickets in the same manner as the travel when authorized as necessary to meet Government requirements (e.g., potential work stoppage by the airline or special circumstances involving international travel to foreign countries). NOTE: Paying for the paper tickets sought by the travelers for personal convenience is the financial responsibility of the member.
