Voting System Testing Update
The “Voting System Testing Update” blog is an effort to keep everyone informed of the progress systems in the EAC’s Testing and Certification Program are making each week. We hope that this adds additional transparency to our process and allows stakeholders to get a weekly update about test campaigns that impact their jurisdiction.

Voting Systems under Test:

·         Dominion Democracy Suite 4.14. EAC received the first Test Plan submission for this test campaign on January 11. EAC finished reviewing the Test Plan and provided comments to Wyle on January 28, 2013. If you would like to view documents related to this test campaign, please visit our website. Jessica Myers is the project manager on this test campaign.

·         Dominion Sequoia WinEDS 4.0. EAC is in discussion with Dominion about the next steps in this test campaign. For documents related to this test campaign, please visit our website. Jessica Myers is the project manager on this test campaign.

·         Election Systems & Software (ES&S) EVS 5.0.0.0. The system is currently in testing at Wyle Laboratories.  For documents related to this test campaign, please visit our website. Brian Hancock is the project manager on this test campaign.

·         Hart InterCivic. Hart is working with SLI Global Solutions to prepare for this test campaign. Weekly status calls were set to begin on January 31, but the start date was moved to February 14, 2013 at the request of the manufacturer. More information will be available on our website after status calls begin. Jessica Myers is the project manager on this test campaign.

If you would like more information about the certification process, please read Chapter 4 and 5 of the Testing and Certification Program Manual. If you have additional questions or would like additional information about a particular voting system, please email Jessica Myers at jmyers@eac.gov.
