Langevin Holds First Burrillville Community Day
Congressman Jim Langevin (D-RI) extended his tradition of Congressional Community Days to Burrillville for the first time today with a series of stops in the town, which became part of the Second Congressional District during last year’s redistricting process.
Throughout the day, the Congressman met with constituents and had specific discussions about the local health care industry, addressing the importance of community health centers with President and CEO Peter Bancroft at WellOne Primary Medical and Dental Care, and the services provided by the Zambarano Unit at Eleanor Slater Hospital. State Representative Cale Keable joined Langevin at both of those stops. The Congressman also met shoppers at Brigido’s IGA Market and had lunch with community leaders at Serio’s Pizzarama.
