Greetings, and welcome to our website. I’m pleased that you’re interested in learning more about USAID’s work in Cambodia.

I arrived as USAID Mission Director to Cambodia in July of 2009. In that time, I’ve seen the many great things that Cambodians and Americans can accomplish when they work side by side as partners.

Since 1992, USAID has given over $800 million in assistance to Cambodia. Together with the Cambodian people, we’ve achieved a lot. We’ve helped cut the HIV/AIDS rate in half; we’ve contributed to rising enrollment rates in primary and secondary schools; and we’ve helped thousands of rural entrepreneurs and farmers expand their businesses and food production.

We at USAID are proud of these accomplishments, because we know that it’s the people behind the numbers – Cambodians from all walks of life and from all regions of the country – who are benefitting from our programs.
