The following links are to the various publications that are prepared by the Department of Veterans Affairs and the VA Maryland Health Care System for veterans and their family members, employees, volunteers and the local community. Patient Information Brochure – a publication for veterans and their family members that provides an overview of the VA Maryland Health Care System, the various medical centers and outpatient clinics located throughout the state, the clinical services and programs that are provided and the process for enrolling as a veteran patient.

Health Watch – a biannual newsletter for veterans, their family members and the local community that provides health and wellness information, tips on navigating the VA Maryland Health Care System, updates on new programs and services and announcements about copayments and eligibility criteria.

Visitor Guide - Baltimore VA Medical Center – a publication that provides information about the Baltimore VA Medical Center for Veteran patients and visitors, including driving directions, important phone numbers, clinic locations, and appointment scheduling.

Visitor Guide - Perry Point VA Medical Center – a publication that provides information about the Perry Point VA Medical Center for Veteran patients and visitors, including driving directions, important phone numbers, building/clinic locations, and appointment scheduling.

Facility Locator Flyer – a one page flyer with a listing of all VA Maryland Health Care System facilities addresses and phone numbers.

Subscribe Online for E-News  – Veterans and their family member can now subscribe online to receive news releases, fact sheets and special announcements from the VA Maryland Health Care System. This free service allows subscribers to receive e-mail messages about important health care issues, changes in copayments and eligibility criteria and upcoming special events and educational programs.

Veterans’ HealthWatch Cable Show - Veterans throughout Maryland can receive valuable information about the various health care benefits and services available to them by tuning in to Veterans’ HealthWatch, an award winning monthly cable show that is produced by the VA Maryland Health Care System. The half-hour program, which is broadcast each week on public access channels throughout the state, provides a viewer-friendly format for veterans and their family members to learn more about the programs and services offered by the VA Maryland Health Care System and the Department of Veterans Affairs.

News Releases - contains a listing of all news releases published by the VA Maryland Health Care System about important health care issues, changes in copayments and eligibility criteria, upcoming special events and educational programs, new programs and services available for veterans, patient and employee profiles and unique accomplishments and achievements received by the health care system and its employees, patients and volunteers.

Video Highlights & Public Service Announcements – provides a directory of all video messages and public service announcements that were produced by the VA Maryland Health Care System or the Department of Veterans Affairs about a variety of health and wellness topics and subjects that are relevant to Maryland’s veterans.

Federal Benefits for Veterans and Dependents – this booklet provides information about the various federal benefits that are available to veterans and their dependents.

Vanguard – a monthly national publication of the Department of Veterans Affairs for veterans, employees and volunteers that provides information on new programs and services, recognition of employee and volunteer accomplishments and features about innovative new activities.
