The Acquisition Policy Division develops, manages, oversees and evaluates the Bureau's acquisition policy, directives, and procedures. The Division also manages the Office of Acquisition's "Procurement Performance Management Program" that 'includes administering procurement measurement tools, management effectiveness assessments, and delegating procurement authority and responsibility.
Other areas of responsibility include providing support and expert advice to the Chief, Office of Acquisition and coordinating procurement reporting requirements and conducting studies, pilots and other analyses to improve business practices and effectiveness of Office of Acquisition activities.
