The Wilkerson Clinic includes comprehensive well childcare with immunizations, management of acute minor illnesses, management of stable chronic illnesses, and coordination of care with pediatric specialists and medical centers for highly specialized evaluation. In addition, providers counsel families about childhood behavior problems and/or family issues affecting children. Developmental assessments and coordination of services with local schools is also offered. Health education related to the individual child's problems and developmental stage is incorporated into each visit. We provide a safe and professional environment within the Pediatric Clinic here within the Kenner Army Health Clinic conducive with meeting health needs of children and their families.

Click here for information on the Wilkerson Pediatric Clinic's Self Care Class.  After completion of this course, you will be able to pick up a slect list of over the counter medications without the hassle of scheduling an appointment.

Please remember to bring your child's shot record with you every time they have a well-visit. It is important that you maintain an up to date complete listing of your child's immunizations. This will ensure a smooth transition when traveling to a new duty station, provide the required documentation for school, daycare, or sports physicals and spare your child repeat vaccinations.

NOW is the time to plan for getting your children’s immunization records and physical exams up-to-date for the next school year! The Pediatric Clinic within Kenner Army Health Clinic stresses, “Do not wait until the last minute. Make an appointment early.”
