Refilling Your Wilmington VA Pharmacy Prescriptions

The Wilmington VA Medical Center Outpatient pharmacy serves about 4,000 veterans per month and processes approximately 1,500 prescriptions daily. To help us serve you better, we have several ways for you to refill your prescriptions. Immediately after you get your first prescription or renewal from your doctor, you can request future refills by telephone, the internet or by mail.

Important Note! If you request your next refill immediately after receiving your current prescription, you will receive your refill before you run out of medication.

Using the automated Dial-a-Refill system at 302-633-5484.
Outside the Wilmington Delaware calling area, dial 800-450-8262.
This service can be used 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and can be used to order refills or to check the status of a previous request.

• After Dialing wait for the greeting.
• Enter your FULL Social Security Number followed by the pound sign (#).
• Press option number 2 for Pharmacy
• Press 1 to order prescription refills.
• Press 2 to check prescription status
• Enter the prescription number (without any letters) followed by the pound sign (#).
• When you are finished, hang up. Your prescriptions will be mailed to you.

Did You Know... You can refill your prescriptions on the computer at home?  There's even an app for Androids and Iphones.  Log on to MyHealtheVet and see what's available online. You will need a user id and password to log in. If you are a first time user you must register on that site.

Mail refill requests to the Pharmacy 

Each prescription comes with a reorder slip and an envelope label. If you send the request right away, the pharmacy will mail the medication shortly before it is due. The address for pharmacy mail is:
