Network of Minority Health Research Investigators (NMRI)

The NMRI Questionnaire

The NMRI Questionnaire evolved from the need of the NMRI Oversight Committee to assess the strengths of the NMRI, gain a better understanding of the career status of NMRI members, produce an objective overview of the productivity of NMRI members within the scientific community, and to understand how well the needs of the members are being met by the NMRI. At the 2008 NMRI Annual Workshop, participants were asked to answer 23 questions regarding their career level, their involvement in NMRI and its initiatives (e.g., mentoring), and how well they felt the NMRI was achieving its goals. This input was invaluable to the NMRI in developing agendas for future NMRI workshops and focusing on those aspects of the NMRI that had been successful and those that needed more attention. The NMRI Questionnaire now is an ongoing part of the Oversight Committee’s evaluation process. NMRI members can participate by completing the Questionnaire online at http://www.scgcorp.com/NMRIQuestionnaire/ exit-disclaimer Icon or by completing a hard copy of the Questionnaire at the NMRI Annual Workshop.
