To promote information sharing, networking, and collaboration, OVC TTAC is creating online learning communities to support specific groups and populations. These secure online communities provide easy access to tools such as templates and guidelines, and promote collaboration in order to facilitate learning.

What is an Online Learning Community?

An online learning community (OLC) is a vehicle through which learning occurs online. Members of the community create the community and make it successful. OLCs include groups of people who share a common sense of purpose and a desire to share work-related knowledge and experience.

Consultant Learning Community

To support organizations that work with victims of crime, OVC maintains a pool of highly skilled consultants with expertise in a variety of topics including program development (e.g., strategic planning, TA design and delivery), victimization issues (e.g., crisis response), crime (e.g., sexual assault, human trafficking), and victim assistance settings (e.g., community-based/nonprofit, military).
