School Delay Notification

In the event the base commander calls a delay in school due to weather conditions, or other reasons, the following standardized procedure will be used:

            Classes will start exactly 2-hours later than normal unless otherwise indicated. Since classes normally start at 0830, a 2-hour delay would mean classes would start at 1030.  Student supervision on school grounds normally begins at 0815 as this is when personnel and playground monitors are scheduled to begin their duties.  A 2-hour delay would mean your child should arrive no earlier than 1015. If your child rides the school bus, a 2-hour delay would mean they should show up to their designated bus stop 2-hours past their normal pick up time. For example, if their normal pick-up time is 0755, then a 2-hour delay would have them being picked up at 0955. *
