The U.S. Air Force Band performed a gala concert celebrating the 60th Anniversary of the Air Force. On hand were guest artists the Tenors: Cook, Dixon and Young, Empire Brass and guest host, Mary Therese Tebbe. The concert took place June 30, 2007 at the Strathmore Music Center in Bethesda, Md. and will be broadcast nationally on public television this coming Veterans Day. The official chorus of the United States Air Force, the Singing Sergeants performed a musical setting of the poem High Flight during a gala concert celebrating the 60th Anniversary of the Air Force. The program was produced for national broadcast and will air on public television stations across the United States on Veteran's Day 2007. The live performance took place on June 30 at the Music Center at Strathmore in Bethesda, Md.
