WASHINGTON, DC (JANUARY 4, 2012) – Congressman Beto O’Rourke (TX-16) has been appointed to the House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs.
“With more than 70,000 veterans who call El Paso home, I am humbled by the opportunity to fight for better service and improved accountability for these local heroes,” O’Rourke said, “Veterans’ issues are important to me and I will fight for them as they have for us.”
