Clinical Psychology Fellowships

Welcome to our website! The Training Committee at the Portland VA Medical Center appreciates your interest in our predoctoral psychology internship and our postdoctoral psychology fellowships. We invite you to browse through our pages and learn more about our training programs.

Our internship has been accredited by the American Psychological Association* since 1978 (next site visit due in 2017) and continues a strong commitment to fostering clinical skills and professional identity in interns. Internship applications for the 2013-2014 training year must be submitted through the AAPI online no later than November 2, 2012.

We currently offer five postdoctoral fellowships. Fellowship applications for the 2013-2014 training year must be submitted by mail and postmarked no later than December 14, 2012. (Note: this is a change to the deadline as of Oct. 11, 2012.)

The Portland VAMC psychology staff values collegial working relationships with interns and fellows as well as the opportunity to teach and provide supervision.

Dr. Goy welcomes you!
