January 30, 2013 5th Signal Command launches theater wide health, mentorship program LUCIUS D. CLAY KASERNE, Germany (January 30, 2013) – Command Sgt. Maj. Gerald L. Tyce, 5th Signal Command, shows the audience how to do some core exercises during 5th Signal Command’s Fit to Lead kick-off event. 5th Signal Command launched their theater-wide Fit to Lead initiative at the Clay Kaserne Fitness Center. Fit to Lead is a health and fitness program that centers on mentors linking up with teams and individuals to accomplish achievable goals.January 17, 2013 5th Signal Command hosts NCO induction ceremony WIESBADEN, Germany – Newly inducted NCOs stand at parade rest in front of the audience. Clay Kaserne passed through an arch highlighting a time honored tradition of induction into the NCO Corps Jan. 17 at the Taunus Theater here.January 17, 2013It was truly an honor to spend time with our chaplains, “Our Army’s First Responders.” These spiritual leaders are change agents who are preaching, teaching and reaching in a dynamically changing strategic environment with a transforming Army that is moving into a post deployment phase.
I applaud each one of them for their unwavering support to each Soldier, Civilian and Family Member. It is important to remember that we are all on the same team and care for these caregivers who sacrifice in so many ways.
