Col. Kent Savre, North Atlantic Division Commander, meets with divers from the 86th Engineer Dive Detachment at a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers office in Caven Point, NJ, August 28. The divers were conducting pier rehabilitation operations. Savre acknowledged their performance and conveyed his appreciation by presenting them with the Division Commander’s coin.

John Wohrle of NAD was a member of the team but was unavailable to receive the award. NAD Executive Officer Joyce Irvin (left) was recognized for her dedicated years of service to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. August 30 was her last day before retirement.
