This month’s featured article is about the newly released VA Core Values and Characteristics.  The monthly training topic provides a broad overview of the the VA National Contract Service, which is responsible for awarding National Contracts and standardized Blanket Purchase Agreements.  Additionally, this month’s edition includes more information about FSS’ move toward cradle-to-closeout assignments, as well as, a reminder about 3^rd Quarter Sales requirements, GSA Advantage and FSS Pricelist requirements, recent emergency and disaster declarations, and a complete list of FSS contracts awarded in July 2011.
