Welcome to the 655th Regional Support Group. The mission of the Group is to provide world class Service Support to America's Army as well as enhance the readiness of our soldiers living and working within the New England Area.

The 655th RSG is a dynamic, forward-looking organization whose primary focus is to meet the training requirements of our Soldiers, and quality of life needs of our civilians, family members and retirees.
Our Area of operation encompasses the six New England States, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine, Connecticut and Rhode Island. The RSG headquarters is located on the US Army Garrison, Fort Devens, in building 695, 118 Jackson Road.

In the last year the Group has deployed and redeploy soldiers from the 382nd MP BN, 719th TC BN (MC), 1173rd TT BN, and the 167th CSSB, while providing support for Homeland Security, including Hurricane Support, JRTC Support, Operation Desert Warrior, Red Dragon, Golden Cargo, QLLEX, New Horizons, Surface Trainer, Joint Thunder, and ODT Flintlock, in countries around the world.

The Group has a down-trace of four battalions, 167th CSSB, 395th CSSB, 334th QM BN and the 719th TC BN (MC) which in turn have C2 over six companies and four detachments with a total of over 1,300 soldiers. To inform these soldiers and civilians the Group maintains a web-site on AKO which contains all current information on missions and activities within the command.

Greetings, Thank you for visiting the Fort Devens 655th RSG web presence. Things are continually improving at the New England-based Regional Support Group. I would like to take this opportunity to welcome both first time and returning visitors.

The 655th RSG is fortunate to have a strong Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO) Corp that consistently demonstrates they live the Army Values, are technically and tactically proficient and most importantly, accomplish the mission.

At the bottom of this message, you will see a link to the "Command Sergeant Major's Corner" at AKO . It will take you to what I refer to as a "Virtual Area of Operations (AO)." At this location you will find periodic messages from me to the Soldiers of the 655th Regional Support Group on a broad variety of topics that are of immediate concern or require timely notification to Soldiers. Plan to visit often.

There is also an "Open Forum" on the CSM's Corner for Soldiers on AKO,  to open threads of discussion on topics that are important to them and to seek advice and assistance from other NCOs throughout the command.

Finally, you will find reference aids to direct you to other Army web sites, the 655th RSG Knowledge Center, and folders containing files I have posted that concern enlisted Soldier matters and opportunities. It is my goal to have this web presence as a unified source for information distribution to the Soldiers and civilians of the 655th Regional Support Command and its subordinate units on Soldier matters.
