Mission Statement:

Fort Devens’ Antiterrorism/Force Protection Mission Statement: Fort Devens’ Antiterrorism office executes a comprehensive Anti-Terrorism program that deters, defeats or mitigates an all hazards Force Protection mission that provides an appropriate level of safety and security for all Soldiers, Civilian workforce, Contractor's, other DoD personnel, Critical Infrastructure Key Resources (CIKR), and Critical information (CI) to ensure Fort Devens and its Tenant Partners continue operational capabilities from acts of terrorism or criminal attacks.

Current Force Protection Level at Garrison: 

FPCON Alpha with Bravo Measures 7, 10 and 12 incorporated

Threat though for the week: 

A terrorist will spend hours and days in sub-zero degrees weather conducting surveillance on a potential target; just one day of changes in your routine will wipeout days and even months of planning, possibly causing them to find a new target.
