Cold Regions Testing

CRTC is the only test site on U.S. soil that realistically combines the conditions of a winter battlefield, with a test season long and cold enough to guarantee proper test conditions. CRTC has priority access to forest, plains, muskeg, mountains, tundra, glaciers, rivers, lakes, and swamps to meet every testing need. Limited winter sunlight provides extended test periods for night vision and thermal-imaging testing, while round-the-clock summer sunlight provides excellent temperate testing capabilities at an accelerated pace.
