Material Preparation Center
The Materials Preparation Center (MPC) at the U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE) Ames Laboratory is a specialized research center managed by Basic Energy Sciences (BES). MPC is recognized throughout the worldwide research community for its unique capabilities in the preparation, purification, and characterization of rare earth, alkaline-earth, and refractory metal materials.
