Heritage Tours are regularly scheduled, free guided tours of the museum that are open to the general public. Tours are offered daily at 1:30 p.m., with an additional tour at 10:30 a.m. on Saturdays. All tours begin at the entrance to the Early Years Gallery (through the Gift Shop and turn right). Advance registration is not necessary. |

Behind the Scenes Tours are regularly scheduled, free guided tours of the museum's restoration area. Participants are shuttled to the restoration hangars, located about one mile from the main museum complex. Tours are offered every Friday (some exceptions) at 12:15 p.m. Advance registration is required. Sign up early as tours may fill up quickly! To register for tours through May 2013, please select a date from the list below and submit a registration form or call (937) 656-9436. Additional instructions are included on the form. Registration for summer 2013 tours will open April 1.
Note: Although advance registration may be full for a tour, a limited number of "stand-by" registrations are available on the day of each tour. Please check with the information desk upon your arrival at the museum.
The museum reserves the right to cancel a tour if the minimum number of registrants is not met.

The Presidential and Research & Development/Flight Test Galleries, located on the controlled-access portion of Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, are accessible using the shuttle bus service from the main museum complex. This service is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Sign up early as buses fill up quickly!
